Another podcast I love to listen to while cleaning stalls or doing barn chores is called Battleplan. It helps me put on the full armour of God every morning. His stories are amazing, and he is super authentic. I found out about Steve Hemphill through my dad who goes to bible study with him. Steve lost his father and wanted to know about Heaven, but at the time, there weren’t any books about it at the bookstore. So, he started researching heaven through bible study and kept bringing all his knowledge to share with the guys. My dad told Steve he needed to write a book about heaven since there wasn’t any to speak of. So he did. And now he has a whole ministry (he used to be an accountant), traveling around teaching the gospel and sharing stories about his prayer ministry. My favorite line Steve says is “God is not a god of I-used-to-could. He is an I AM God.”

His podcast is short and sweet with a kick, and he is working on making his true stories about the power of prayer into a movie. Check out his books about Heaven, too. They are the “real deal” easy reads.
