Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis

EPM- Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis – We had several horses get sick with neurological signs, muscle weakness, and unknown phantom lamenesses that come and go. We had trouble pinpointing the cause, but I did know who to call. The absolute best vet to diagnose and treat EPM is Dr. Bruce Buenger. He has special neuro tests he performs to diagnose the horses and his treatment is unique and cutting-edge. He has seen it all and tried all the different treatments. I think he has the BEST protocol treatment. Learn more about EPM: https://ceh.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/health-topics/equine-protozoal-myeloencephalitis-epm

Our most precious Linus got diagnosed with it. He showed signs of odd things like spooking at pigeons. Then, when he tripped from stepping over a ground pole, I knew we were in trouble. This disease is a killer, and I was hoping we didn’t wait too late. We started him on the protocol quickly and he is now in restoration mode. Linus is such a trooper and he is enjoying getting back to work. Thank you, everyone who prayed for Linus. He is doing well.
