Riding Lessons

Our riding lessons teach basic horsemanship skills and safety. Working around horses is tricky unless you know how horses think. We teach about how God created them, how we can communicate with them and how they see us and why they respond the way they do.

Our skill levels guide us thru what you already know and what we need to teach you. Work your way up the levels and become a skilled horseman.

Our instructors have a minimum of 30 years each of equine teaching experience. Our horses have had full show careers and are highly trained and skilled. Wonderhill offers the BEST of the BEST.

Learning Lessons Curriculum

Learning Levels are modules of a progressive educational system for equine education, covering beginning riding principles, equine knowledge, ground training, and horse care skills.

Each colorful Level allows you to track students’ progress as they develop into versatile, well-rounded riders and horsemen. Students work to master specific skills in each of the Levels, and receive recognition for completion when they are able to consistently demonstrate each of the skills to their instructor. In many cases, achievement of one Level is a prerequisite for learning more advanced skills.
